Transition and recurrent training are available for the Cirrus SR20, SR22, SR22T, and Turbo-Normalized models. All training is done in accordance with Cirrus’ factory-approved FITS-accepted syllabus, using scenario-based training.
These programs introduce you to the incredible features of these aircraft and are designed to build a sound working knowledge of the aircraft, its systems, procedures and handling characteristics.
Cirrus SR20 Transition Training Requirements
- Private Pilot Certificate
- Completion of Cirrus SR20 Perspective Online Transition Course (Approximately 6-10 hours)
- Completion of Cirrus SR20 Perspective Instructor Led Discussion (Approximately 3 hours)
- Completion of Cirrus SR20 Perspective Flight Practical to Cirrus Approach Satisfactory Standards (Approximately 4-10 hours depending on pilot proficiency)
Cirrus SR22 Transition Training Requirements
- Private Pilot Certificate, with an Instrument Rating
- Completion of Cirrus SR22 Perspective Online Transition Course (Approximately 6 hours)
- Completion of Cirrus Perspective Online Instrument Transition (Approximately 4 hours)
- Completion of Cirrus Flight into Known Icing Online Course (Approximately 1 hour)
- Completion of Cirrus SR22 Perspective Ground Training (Approximately 3 hours)
- Completion of Cirrus SR22 Perspective Flight Practical to Cirrus Approach Satisfactory Standards (Approximately 4-10 hours depending on pilot proficiency)
